And the Bacon advanced forward, gloriously employing the use of videos to make their posts even more fantastic. All hail!

the library suggestion box had more than 200 comments that night about what a terrible idea that was.

The entire library doesn't hold more than 300 people, if that.

Let's not repeat this, and let's move on.

Thanks Bacon for being the new student voice, and keeping people acountable.

Boy, it sure would be nice to have an official print publication on campus that did its job...

Give the Beacon back to the students so blogs don't have to do the work for them.

yes and ban all drinks and food and duck tape every users mouth shut when entering and expell immediately anyone playing computer games and any members of the opposite sex talking or holdin hands. make it a real student friendly place...

also anyone listening to any music on earphones will be banned because neighbors might hear them and music of any kind does not belong in a library except rock and rapp and also disable any speakers on computers so music cant be heard ever except for rock and rapp so no classical music can ever be heard in the warren lest it threaten to raise the cultural level of the PBA and destroy the blue collar atmosphere. oh yes and close JazzMans and turn it into a store to sell used library books and give away used student clothing. oh and no laughing out loud or smiling lest we destroy the oxfordian atmosphere of this puney little library

the train and christmas village on the second floor were very distracting and noisy no more of this next year and no decorations for christmas ever ever again and of course even humming a carol will be banned forever

Just make the library a library... a quiet place, where students can do what they are supposed to do in libraries....sleep!

one hour of band music ruined my whole semester in all 5 courses and i lost some sleep...

Obviously, anonymous, you're trying to make a point by going to the extreme regarding 'no Christmas in the library... you want it austere...we'll give you austere'.

I get it.

The issue is not the decorations or the tree or Christmas itself. For that matter, any season's decorations if the school wants to decorate Club Warren to set a theme is great... fine. No problem.

It's the sound dude. The sound.

The point the Bacon and everyone else is trying to make is that in order for students to be able to study, they need quiet. That's all.
You want decorations? You want a tree? Great! Bring em on! Everybody loves Christmas, and nobody's against it. I think it's great that the library has a Christmas theme.
A band? A party? In the library of all places, while students are trying to study...for finals? That's where it all went downhill.

one hour of music when half the students were listening to their ipods anyway and playing computer games? we got a bunch of low brow folks in this place..aint got no kulture..get over it dude...

There's nothing cultured about singing the 12 days of Christmas in a university library one day before pharmacy finals, a week before most term papers are due and two weeks before exams.

I am having a lot of trouble getting over an administration that is this inconsiderate to students.
dude.

not only was there an hour of playing, but an hour and a half of set up and practice. Plus an hour of Karaoke outside.
