Timely Notice: PBA streets officially safe

After several threatening incidents on campus, involving a mugging and an armed robbery, PBA Security is happy to announce that the campus is no longer at risk.

Officers took active pursuit of the suspect, a 97 two-speed Yamaha, late last night, after it was sighted for suspicious activity near the Baxter lobby. When it pulled into this 'No-Parking' zone of the ODP garage, officers took immediate action to apprehend the Mo-ped.

"There's not even a curb there," said Lt. Landin Maxgood.

While there is no conclusive evidence, Safety and Security is certain that the Yamaha is responsible for all violent incidents on campus over past months, and with it in custody, are confident that PBA has absolutely nothing more to worry about.

"We're just glad to know that students are now in a much safer environment,"
said Sgt. Perry Roller as he frisked the scooter for any firearms.

Showing extra precaution, officers will now be required to carry a tire boot with them at all times, in case family members of the suspect attempt any violent retaliation.
