Slow days, Soren? Two articles a week is more than we've gotten in a long time, other than the Clark interviews. The Bacon's been on the ball lately.

I agree with Professor.If this is, in truth, making fun of health issues of beloved Dr. L, Bacon should take this down and issue an apology to all Bacon readers.If he is sick or having health issues, I'd say the Bacon has never dipped this low.You must remember Bacon editors, you too must have some standards. I am not on campus and therefore do not know the status of Lovejoy.
Is he sick?
I haven't heard of anything about him being sick and I'm still at PBA. I think it was just stating how amazing it is that the man keeps teaching every year without missing a beat. He's one of those legends of PBA and the amazing feat is that he's teaching again next year. That's what I take fromt this.
I'm honestly in awe of the incompetence of a few commenters:
First off - I doubt Lovejoy is sick, the Bacon writers would not do such a thing if he were and he knew about it... Besides - the man's almost immortal.

The joke is that he's been at PBA for a long time. This has been an ongoing motif at the Bacon for a while.
The man is fine. Lighten up, ya'll. The Bacon did not exploit any illnesses.
