"I just don't understand why someone would want to do homework here," said club-goer Bryan Saran. "It's stupid. I mean, you never see people trying to read across the street from Dr. Feelgood's."
Students found studying in the new space have complained about the level of noise coming from the ongoing party next door, particularly the bumping beats coming from the pharmacy students' third floor rave. As of this writing, PBA officials have made minimal effort to address these concerns.
"If students want a quiet place to study, there are plenty of those places available on campus. They don't have to do it here," stated brand new Club Warren manager Steven Cook. "I usually tell them to try the student center, or maybe the Baxter lobby. This is a club, not some kind of library."
Despite the commotion, students wishing to study in the rotunda have largely found the experience rewarding.
"It really is a great place," commented a frequent rotunda reader. "My only qualm is that I get really distracted by Dr. Clark and Kim Kardashian coming in the Club Warren VIP entrance every night."

I freaking love the rotunda. This is entirely correct. People need to shut up in there.
funny story!
True too. The first week or so no one was in there because they couldn't comprehend what it could be used for.
as we learned from our christival speaker, "don't think too much," the library rotunda will be used to avoid books, eat chips, drink soda and get more rotund.
Palsy -
the lack of students in there the first week might have had something to do with it not being open yet, :-)
LAter,

I wish I could see it, but I'm too far away.
Umm Dr. Clark isn't the president anymore, but overall good article!
Of course Clark's not the president. I'm pretty sure they know that.
It read like Clark was still the president...my bad.
Yesterday PBA was taken over by hoards of people wearing army fatigues. Not a single picture or a mention of how Dr. Anderson climbed to the top of the rock wall to win prove that women are equal to men. No quotes from Lovejoy's speech that he gave to these ROTC whipper-snappers about using advanced infintry tactics to settle the wild and rugged colony of Florida. No word on anything.
Another missed opportunity by the blog formerly known as the Bacon.
Anyone know where a former PBAer could see some pictures of the new-old rotunda? You'd think they would be on the PBA website somewhere.
If you have a story idea, you write it yourself and send it in. I don't know how many times that has been told to y'all.
I've sent some ideas in the past but they never use them or get back to me. Why should I keep trying? It's easier to post them in the comments and make fun of bad the Bacon's gotten.
Yes, let's make fun of "bad the Bacon's gotten," specifically to the stories you send in. They are atrocious.
zzzzzzzzzzzz
To the Anonymous that asked about pictures of the Rotunda: there was a professional photographer in the Rotunda Friday evening. His pictures should be filtering through Development to the website in the next several weeks.
Has anybody else's comments been deleted/censored? I am getting quite frustrated, thanks!
You aren't alone, mine have been too!
That is entirely false. You are sowing seeds of dissent.
no ones comments have been censored otherwise they would show up as being deleted. you lie.
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.....
I'll take a screenshot of my comments then prove it to you! My comments WERE deleted!
So the Bacon is now closed?
Guess so! RIP
i do not see you writing any articles. they always ask for input. so basically you are dead, not them.
dead.
on the bright side, maybe this means things are going better at pba.
Things are going better? Doubt it.
Hello? Hello?
Maybe the editors got arrested by SS and are hiding in the dungeon beneath the art house.
This is NOT good.
